I was very sorry to hear of Clive’s death but not surprised to hear of the stoic way he fought to avoid it. Clive was always supremely knowledgeable and helpful whenever I asked for help or advice and with usefully strong views which he was never afraid to put over most forcefully. A great guy.

So very sad to get the news of Clive’s passing, and equally sorry not make it to the funeral as we’re in the Far East at the moment. Clive truly was a “top man” and will be sadly missed. Always such a positive and entertaining man, with an amusing experience or anecdote to tell, he always commanded respect, from colleagues and customers alike. And from Wendy’s perspective, as a boss, he was always the fairest and her most favourite boss. (my earliest recollection of starting at “Spit”, was sales role-playing in the classroom some 43 years ago, and he wouldn’t buy from me!).
